The retail CBDC pilot project is exciting, and the RBI expects to attain 1 million daily transactions by 2023, up from 20,000–25,000 in July. Wholesale CBDC transactions on the secondary market for government securities are infrequent.

Call money (the market) is another piece. Unless we integrate all the pieces, it won't be efficient. At this point in CBDC, we are testing each one of them in isolation.
